Bay State Carbide Products Corporation, a Massachusetts company, was
founded in 1971. In 1981 the company relocated to Rochester, NH because of the need for
additional space and a larger work force. In the spring of 1998, Bay State Carbide
expanded a third time, moving into a 17,000 sq. ft. facility which doubled the
manufacturing space. In addition to expanding, Bay State Carbide acquired Amoskeag
Precision Tool, a PCD & PCBN cutting tool company, in 1999.Throughout Bay State
Carbide's history, we have been well known for being a manufacturer of standard, quality
cutting tools to the metal working industry. While we continue to be a full stocking
manufacturer of industry recognized standard cutting tools Bay State Carbide has, in
recent years, turned its focus towards the "specials" market with emphasis on
top quality, the availability of fast deliveries and full technical support. Our belief in
vertically integrated manufacturing and the fact that we operate 2 shifts and stock over
$500,000 in raw and semi-finished carbide blanks and rod allows Bay State Carbide to
commit to and achieve faster than normal deliveries currently available in the cutting
tool market.
